Workshops at Bowerbird
April 12 2024

Inspired to try a new craft? Workshops are a perfect way to learn new skills and enjoy a fun morning or afternoon with friends. Here’s what’s on offer at Bowerbird.

Hakea Painting with Renee Goulding Art

Renee has developed a reputation as a gifted teacher and workshop facilitator. In these workshops, participants are invited to explore their own creativity while learning new techniques and honing their skills.

You are encouraged to experiment with colour, and to draw inspiration from the rich and diverse world of Australian native flora as you paint your own Hakea.

Textured Painting with Golden Hour Studio

In this textured art workshop, you will learn all the techniques needed to create your own beautiful work of art. This fun and creative workshop lets you choose between selected designs or one of your own. Tahlia and Demi will work with you so you leave with the perfect individual piece of art for your home.

This workshop focuses on beautiful art and good times with friends and is suitable for all abilities from beginners to budding artists.

Clay hand-building with Andrina Wright

Andrina will guide you step by step through the process of constructing a pair of roll vases or decorative coil-built pottery planter or dish. You will be using a variety of mediums to imprint the clay and then adding colour to the texture with underglaze.

Your work will be bisque fired, glazed and glaze fired and available for collection from Bowerbird’s head office in the CBD 4 weeks after the workshop.
