Everything from Chomo Studio is handmade with love and care in the hope that they bring joy to the everyday. Chomo's studio is full of whimsical characters and flowers that tell their own stories through shapes and colours. Chomo makes everything herself, from scratch, in small batches to ensure that every piece has its own unique story. She hopes to share these stories through her little creations.
Chomo is an illustrator and ceramist based in Melbourne, born in South Korea. She studied sculpture, ceramics, and illustration in both Korea and the UK and has participated in numerous group exhibitions and craft markets, as well as worked as an illustrator, for the last 15 years. She relocated to Australia and currently works out of a small home-based studio in Point Cook, Victoria. Her recent ceramic work features functional homeware and figurines that combine shapes and illustrations as an extension of her drawing practice.
