Tea4Two Art started by Alana around seven years ago, as a break in between Art teaching to raise a little family - a desire to utilise her creativity to create beautiful yet useful ceramic pieces. Alana loves & appreciates the white, translucent quality of the Australian porcelain clay she uses as well as the durability, due to the high fired temperature. Drawing inspiration from her country upbringing, Alana loves to use texture & respects the high quality of the clay by using lustre highlights & pops of colour.
Contributing to the success of Tea4Two Art is creating unique & original home decor, tableware & earrings with an understated style designed to last a lifetime.
From the making, building & moulding stage to the sanding, firing & glazing stage she completes every step by hand building techniques in her home studio in Adelaide, South Australia.
