This November, Bowerbird will showcase a fantastic lineup of Australian designers, many from right here in South Australia. We are excited to announce the complete designer lineup on Friday 7 October.

Here’s a sneak peek of some of South Australia’s talented designers and makers curated to join us from every corner of our state this November. We look forward to welcoming them and seeing their latest creations.

Silk scarves dyed with flowers

The silks in the Garden to Gallery collection are coloured with dyes hand-crafted with leaves, flowers and vegetables grown sustainably in Jenni’s own garden, and foraged locally, in Booborowie, 200km north of Adelaide.

Soaps and skincare products

From their off-grid farm, The Naked Soap Company focus on creating products good for your skin and for the Earth too. This small family business, from just outside the Barossa Valley, create a wide range of soaps skin balms, bath salts, facial products and body butters.

Perfumes and botanical products

Cherie Em’s products are intimately created and delicately blended for a beautiful sensory experience. Products range from botanical bath and body products and perfumes, all lovingly hand made in small batches using a wide range of botanicals grown on their property. 

Luxury dog accessories

Georgie Paws creates beautiful buffalo leather dog collars, leads, toys and luxury dog related accessories. The business was created by Violet when she was 13 years old and now in its sixth year and is selling across the country and overseas.

Sustainable products

Humblee Eco is a small South Australian business making products such as reusable waxed bags and wraps since 2018. With a focus on sustainability, it has grown to create a small range of hemp linens, including aprons and tea towels.

Unique handbags

YellowBird bags are designed and handmade by Lynley Slater. Their 2022 Signature Collection is a collaboration with local wood crafts people Adsum Ritcher Things and features fabrics from Australian indigenous artists.

Mid century vibes

Bob Window produces a range of niche homewares with a definite nod to the mid-century aesthetic. From either his own hand prints or selected vintage fabrics, bob window’s bright and bold fabrics are made into cushion covers and lampshades.

Quirky graphic tshirts 

Snixley Apparel + Design is a fashion/design brand that embodies all things that the designer Hadley loves; colour, shapes, skeletons and dinosaurs.

A collection of designs from the far corners of her imagination printed on paper and textile. Snixley specialises in quirky graphic surf ‘n’ skate style t-shirts, suitable for all ages.

Glass and silver jewellery

Emily Jean‘s jewellery is handmade lamp-worked glass jewellery, created in the heart of the Flinders Ranges. Her pieces are a fun play on nature, creating mini worlds of light and colour to wear, mesmerise and enchant.
