Based in Thebarton, Imperial Measures Distilling was founded in 2014 by two bartenders. As one of the first distilleries in SA, IMD sought to champion Australian distilling in a world still dominated by global brands. Their first product, Ounce Gin ‘Signature’, did just that and was quickly nicknamed ‘The Converter.’
Since then, the nationally and internationally awarded range has expanded to include four gins, a bitter aperitif, vermouths, and several exceptional liqueurs, always created with cocktails and the bartender in mind. With hospitality in their blood, every new release pays homage to the rich experience and traditions that have come before and the passion and creativity of modern Australian hospitality.
