The Woollen Earth

The Woollen Earth is an excitingly tactile range of fashion accessories and home decor that will have you melting the first time you touch it! Sally, it's one designer and maker, has fallen in love with Australian Merino Wool in it's chunkiest, most raw form. She uses the softest wool in giant form and handmakes each piece by crocheting on extremely large crochet hooks handcarved by her husband from fallen Gum branches.

Sally began with making luxurious throws and floor rugs, but coming from a background of making couture wedding dresses, her designs took a natural turn towards fashion. She is known for her completely unique and beautiful beanies and statement scarves as they are not only incredibly eye-catching but are also the warmest winter staples around. The Australian Merino is world renowned and her designs are bringing both the wool and the ancient art of crochet into a modern light. She also creates DIY Kits and will be running classes this season.
