Scarlett Bird was established in 2011 by Melissa Aitchison in Adelaide, SA, Australia. Scarlett Bird's mantra is fun and colourful, pretty and practical. They design clothes mainly for day wear, that have the ability to be dressed up while still being comfortable, and importantly looking fabulous. They can be worn anywhere, from school pickups to work, a brunch date to a night out, and by anyone, they go up to size 24.
Scarlett Bird works with a large array of Australian artists for all their fabrics and t-shirt prints. It's important to them that the brand is supporting Australian jobs wherever possible, all products are either printed or manufactured in Adelaide. They run custom production on a pre-order basis, so they can be as sustainable as possible with little waste. However, if you just want something quick and easy, they also offer a Ready to Wear range, which is also manufactured here in Adelaide in small batches.
