MAINICHI is a manufactory for the exploration of beauty in the EVERYDAY.
Designed and handmade in Adelaide, South Australia - MAINICHI is jewellery that tells a tale of the repurposed, salvaged and everyday materials from which it is made.
At the helm of Mainichi is Interior Designer and Maker Dearne Mills. Since 2004 she has been cutting, stitching, knotting and crafting genuinely uncommon, bold and distinct works of art in the form of jewellery and sculptural objects. Originally inspired by a trip to Japan, the work of Mainichi takes its cues from Pop Art, Post Modernism, Architecture, the 1980's and all the discarded treasures that are waiting to be discovered, and transformed.
