Humblee Eco is a small business based in Adelaide producing a variety of attractive, handmade, reusable and sustainable products. Humblee Eco's founder, Leonie, says "Each of us has an obligation to do what we can to minimise our discarded plastic. Just by starting with the single-use plastic we throw away daily, we can really make a difference."
The Humblee Eco range of waxed bags and wraps are a great alternative to cling wrap and will keep your food fresher for longer. They use locally sourced beeswax and other high-quality ingredients such as Darma food-grade tree resin. Although using Darma is an expensive option, Humblee Eco believes it to be well worthwhile.
After much trialling, Leonie has also perfected a plant-based wax for the bags and wraps as a Vegan friendly alternative. With their focus on sustainability, Humblee Eco have now added earth friendly hemp fabric to their range of products including handmade and hand-dyed tea towels, napkins and aprons.
